Which AI tools do I need access to?

The course primarily uses free versions of ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. We'll also explore other AI tools but typically this is through demonstrations. While you can access everything with free tiers, we'll discuss when paid versions might be worth considering for your specific needs. If your organisation blocks AI tools, don't worry as I'll demonstrate on my screen and you can still complete all exercises using the outputs.

What about data protection and GDPR?

This is critical and we dedicate over an hour to cover this in more detail. It is expected as HR professionals you already have an understanding of GDPR but we will be covering such things as ethics, bias, transparency, as well as internal governance of AI.

Do I need a technical background?

Absolutely not. It assumes zero technical knowledge.

What if my organisation has strict AI policies?

Many organisations do. We'll discuss workarounds, and I'll demonstrate all tools on my screen so you can still participate fully. You'll also learn how to build the business case for getting AI tools approved.

Is the course suitable for my organisation size?

Yes. The frameworks and tools work whether you're a solo HR professional in a 50-person company or part of a team in a 5,000-person organisation. During exercises, you'll apply everything to your specific context.
